We are Troy and Stephano from Brooklyn NY…
Why do you hand make your products?
We have been designing and selling Necklush accessories on Etsy since 2008. We love the fact that all of our accessories are handmade, we take great pride in our work, and enjoy the fact that people really appreciate Necklush… it’s a great feeling to do this everyday! Necklush is very labour intensive, so each piece takes a while to create. All of the colors and patterns you see are all done by hand by Stephano and I. These are not store bought materials, instead each piece is hand colored by the two of us which makes them like little pieces of art really.
What hopes/dreams do you have for your products? Where would you like to see them?
Our dream for Necklush is to continue to meet and produce work for wonderful people all over the world. We are amazed everyday at how many people really appreciate quality handmade goods like Necklush…
Currently our work is sold at the Hirshorn Smithsonian and the Art institute of Chicago… and Necklush was chosen by the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Museum to represent Etsy in the Design Triennial this past year. Our dreams for Necklush have already been surpassed! We just plan to continue to make amazing pieces and continue to improve on our customer service and communications. It’s all a wonderful work in progress.
